Ruby climbs to #9 on the TIOBE Programming Community Index

Ruby is #9, with 3%. My two choices for Language of the Year to learn for 2008, Lisp and Smalltalk, finished 15th (0.75%) and 36th (0.21%), respectively. The biggest surprise (to me) … C is #2, clocking 14%.
