First Round Capital

Someone told me about First Round Capital last night. The person described them to me as “cowboys” (in a good way). Looking at their website, they aren’t afraid to be gunslingers. Over 70 investments and check out these lines:

• “We are not afraid of investing in pre-revenue companies.”
• “We believe our experience, insight and expertise are far more valuable than our capital.”
• “No months of negotiations. If we’re going to invest, we usually decide within days.”
